Two Trees Construction Group LLC is a licensed and insured home improvement contractor based in Westwood, working across Bergen County and northern New Jersey. We handle interiors and exteriors — painting, floors, tile, kitchens, baths, basements and outdoor work — and we scope every one of them the same way.
The company
Formed in 2022, working across northern New Jersey.
Two Trees Construction Group LLC was formed in New Jersey in August 2022 and registered as a home improvement contractor with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. Since then we have worked in homes from Westwood and Fair Lawn out to Montclair, Wayne, Bedminster and Edgewater.
Most of what we do is renovation and finish work on homes people are living in: repainting an entire interior, refinishing floors that have been under carpet for thirty years, rebuilding a bathroom wall that failed behind the tile, finishing a basement, or putting a fence around a back yard. Jobs run from a single room to a whole house.
We are a small outfit, not a franchise. The person who walks your job is the person who writes your estimate.
How we estimate
Every line item priced separately, before anyone starts.
The estimate is the part of a renovation people get burned on. Ours is written, itemized, and specific about what is and is not in the price.

Included vs. supplied, in writing
The estimate says plainly what we furnish and what you buy. On most jobs customers choose and pay for paint, tile and stone themselves, and that is stated up front rather than discovered later.

Scope written out
Ceilings, trim, mouldings, doors, closets, filling nail holes and seams — if it is part of the job it is named. Nothing is left to be argued about once the drop cloths are down.
You approve the work before the last payment.
That last 20% exists so the job has to be finished to your satisfaction before it is closed out. It is written into the contract, not a courtesy.

Registered NJ contractor
New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor license #13VH12426800. State law requires that number on every advertisement, contract and commercial vehicle — you can check it against the Division of Consumer Affairs register before you hire anyone, including us.

Commercial general liability
We carry commercial general liability insurance. If your building, association or lender needs to see a certificate before work starts, ask and we will have our carrier send one over.

Written contracts
New Jersey requires home improvement work over $500 to be under a written contract, and gives you three business days after signing to cancel. You should expect that in writing from any contractor you hire.
